Ohanaeze to commence peace talks with diaspora Igbo
The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council (OYC) yesterday said it has concluded arrangements to commence peace talks with Igbo and agitators in the Diaspora to find a way of ending attacks on prominent Igbo people who travel overseas to by members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
In a statement issued in Abakaliki by President General OYC, Okechukwu Isiguzoro and Secretary General, Okwu Nnabuike, the group apologised to Chibuike Amaechi over the purported attacks on him at Madrid Spain by IPOB members.
They noted that the Igbo Youth Council (IYC) had met Igbo leaders and some Coalition of Biafra agitators from different countries in Asia with a view to halting further embarrassment of government officials of Igbo extraction.
