Okonjo-Iweala, British PM, others for global investment summit

Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, is to speak at next Tuesday’s Global Investment Summit (GIS) in London along with British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.

International Trade Secretary, Anne-Marie Trevelyan and Foreign Secretary, Liz Truss, as well as global leaders, would speak at the one-day event to showcase United Kingdom’s credentials as both leaders in green, sustainable and technological development and investment destination of choice.

In a press statement yesterday by her department, both Trevelyan, whose department is the chief organiser, and Okonjo-Iweala would speak on the role of trade and investment in shaping a more sustainable future for all.
