Okorocha calls for restructuring of Police Trust Fund

Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has called for the restructuring of the Police Trust Fund (PTF), to achieve the purpose for which it was established.

Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has called for the restructuring of the Police Trust Fund (PTF), to achieve the purpose for which it was established.

According to the governor, if restructured and overhauled, good spirited Nigerians and individuals would make positive contributions so as to realise the objective of setting it up.

Okorocha gave the advise at the weekend, when the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Idris Pkpotum Ibrahim, in company of the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Dasuki Galadanchi, and other police officials visited him at the Government House, Owerri, noting that the governors’ forum has decided to assist the police.

He advised Nigerians to assist the police in view of the vagaries of their job.
