Okowa, Majemite promise credible poll, jobs
Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, and governorship hopeful, Chief Fred Majemite, have promised transparent primary election and jobs through technological education.
Okowa, at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Mega Rally in Asaba, yesterday, assured PDP members of transparent primary elections.
Meanwhile, in a statement made available to The Guardian, yesterday, Majemite said Deltans would be proud that they are from the Big Heart state when, as elected governor of the state, he begins to implement his five-point agenda of Continuity, Accelerated Industrialisation, Revenue Generation, Education/Empowerment and Security (CARES).
The two-time commissioner, who was also at the rally, pledged that under his administration as governor, there would be continuity of Okowa’s master plan for accelerated industrialisation of the state, revenue generation, education as well as physical, health, food and social security for Deltans.
While thanking his supporters from different parts of the state for mobilising massively for the rally, he urged them to pray that his good work would speak for him at the PDP primary.
According to Governor Okowa, the PDP remains one united family in the state, assuring Deltans that leaders of the party in the state will ensure that primaries for all elective positions are credible.
