Announcing the committee, Olopade said it would oversee preparations and ensure the successful delivery of the inaugural edition of the Games.

“We expect the committee to bring its expertise to bear in laying a solid foundation for the National Intermediate Games,” he said.

The National Intermediate Games is designed to provide a competitive pathway for athletes above 15 years who have previously participated in the National Youth Games, as part of the NSC’s broader sports development framework under the Renewed Hope Initiative for Nigeria Sports Economy (RHINSE).
