Oluebube charity foundation expands reach with healthcare, education, food programs

The Oluebube Charity Foundation (OCF) has intensified its humanitarian efforts across communities in Anambra State and beyond, rolling out initiatives that target healthcare, food security, education and youth development.

Speaking on the foundation’s vision, Director Mrs. Rosemary Ezeani said its work is driven by the belief that “youth are not useless; they are used less.” According to her, the conviction has continued to shape programs aimed at empowering children, women, the elderly and the vulnerable.

One of OCF’s major interventions is its free medical outreach in rural and semi-urban areas, providing health screenings, consultations, medications and education. The initiative has become a lifeline for families who lack access to healthcare facilities.

In addition, the foundation organizes “Shop for Free” events, where beneficiaries are allowed to pick clothes, shoes and other essentials at no cost. Mrs. Ezeani explained that the initiative goes beyond handouts by giving people “the joy of choice,” which she described as key to restoring dignity and confidence.

OCF also runs a monthly Children’s Ministry and Retreat Program at its Okpuno Retreat Center, which combines mentorship, Bible stories, group games and values-based learning. The foundation said the program creates “a safe space where children from diverse backgrounds come together to learn, play and be guided in the right path.”

Through its Skill Academy, the group introduces schoolchildren to practical training in fine arts, music and computer literacy during holidays, while its “Mothers Feed the Streets” program provides food and clean water to low-income earners, elderly persons and children in Anambra, Abuja and other states.

The foundation also promotes community bonding through its annual Harmony Hub Christmas Carol and Choir Competition, which gathers choirs to showcase musical talent and reinforce the season’s message of togetherness.

Mrs. Ezeani noted that OCF’s efforts extend to scholarships, school support and mentorship programs, saying the overall goal is to meet urgent needs while building long-term opportunities. “No life is too small to be touched, and no act of kindness too little to matter,” she said.

With activities ranging from medical aid to educational support, the Oluebube Charity Foundation has become a visible force in humanitarian work, offering relief and empowerment to thousands across multiple communities.
