General Overseer, Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries (MFM), Dr. Daniel Olukoya, has underscored the importance of encouraging the youths in vocations that can profitably engage them, take them out of the streets and give them the future.
He said that these would go a long way toward reducing vices in society. Olukoya, who identified music as one of the talents that are available to the youth these days, spoke through the Senior Regional Overseer, MFM Music Worldwide, Pastor Samuel Oloyede, at the MFM Headquarters, Onike, Yaba, on the readiness of 25 youth artistes, members of MFM-named “Psalmists,” who are poised to showcase their musical talents on December 4, 2022, by 1.00 p.m at Eko Hotel & Suites.
Olukoya, who traced the emergence of Psalmists to the desire to encourage the youths who have musical talents, said: “After the presentation of their songs to the congregation, a lot of youths also developed an interest and from them evolved this group of 25 artistes.
“Part of what we are doing is to reposition the agenda of the ministry aimed at taking the youths out of the streets and ensuring that something good is happening to their destiny.
“Certainly, the destinies of these 25 young artistes are being promoted and many more will still benefit from the initiative.”
