Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo election)

Minister for Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, on Monday, rallied youth in Ondo State to support Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa ahead of the forthcoming off-cycle November 16 governorship election in the state.

Leading the youth on a solidarity walk to mobilise voters, Aiyedatiwa, Olawande stated that the youth are ready to vote for the governor.

The youths, who walked from the Ilesha garage through the Oyemekun-Oba Adesida road to the Alagbaka area, campaigned to residents riding okada, including traders at the Oja Oba.

According to Olawande, the walk was to show that the APC is intact in Akure, stressing that the state capital would give Aiyedatiwa huge votes.

He said the current hardship was occasioned by the necessary decision taken by the President to bring the country out of the woods.

He said, “We have made up our mind to vote for the governor.” A lot of people will say there is hardship. Yes, there is hardship; things are hard, things are bad, but it’s a decision that the President must make so that everybody can be better.
