In an effort to improve access to cross-border financial services between the United States and Nigeria, a fintech company operating in the States, OneDosh has launched a Cash App funding feature for eligible users in there, allowing them to add U.S. dollars to their OneDosh wallet, convert the funds to Nigerian naira and transfer money across supported international corridors.‌‎

The company said the feature is aimed at supporting U.S.-based users sending money to family members, students, professionals, businesses and other beneficiaries connected to Nigeria.
According to OneDosh, the new service enables users to fund their U.S. dollar wallets through Cash App before converting the funds into naira.

Chief Product Officer of OneDosh, Austin Cornell, said the initiative was part of efforts to simplify international money transfers.

“Our goal is to make money move instantly and freely around the world. We have made it possible for millions of Cash App users who need to convert and send dollars and Naira, powered by Bitcoin,” Cornell said.

The company disclosed that Cash App funding will be available without transaction fees for eligible U.S. users until August 31, 2026, as part of activities marking the rollout of the service.

OneDosh said its platform provides multi-currency wallets, U.S. banking services, foreign exchange conversion between U.S. dollars and Nigerian naira, payment cards, stablecoin infrastructure, creator payouts and cross-border payment services.

It added that the platform currently operates in the United States, Nigeria, Canada and several European countries.
