Osborn Nweze’s La Palm Royal Resort mecca for cream of society

As 2023 comes to a close and the festive season kicks off, the Osborn La Palm Royal Resort has been in the limelight as prominent Nigerians are spotted in the five-star hotel.

Most recent visitors and clients to the Port Harcourt-based luxury hotel include the likes of Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, aka Obi Cubana, the billionaire businessman and chairman of the Cubana Group Limited; leading comedian Ayo Makun, popularly known as AY and the CEO of Corporate World Entertainment; Chief Emeka Okonkwo, aka E-Money, the chairman of Five Star Group Limited; and Dr Kennedy Okonkwo, Africa’s biggest real estate mogul.

Osborn La Palm Royal Resort is owned by Osborn Nweze Umahi, the entrepreneur son of the former governor of Ebonyi State and present Minister of Works, Dave Umahi.

Osborn Nweze, as he is popularly known, is an engineer and a graduate of Surrey University, United Kingdom, where he studied for his bachelor’s degree in 2019. He is also an astute businessman who has a master’s in Finance and Investment Management from Aberdeen University in 2022.

Osborn Nweze, who served as managing director of his father’s company, Brass Oil and Construction Limited, incorporated Osborn La Palm Royal Resort back in 2011 when he was still a teenager and commenced operations on October 30, 2022.

Barely one year later, the resort has become the talk of the town and a mecca of sorts for the country’s high and mighty in politics and business.

Photos posted on the hotel’s Instagram page, chronicled the faces of important dignitaries patronising the luxury resorts in the past three months.
