Osun election: APC candidate Oyetola wins polling unit over Adeleke
Osun State Governor Gboyega Oyetola has won his polling unit in the ongoing governorship poll.
The polling unit has 1457 registered voters.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate polled 545 votes from his polling unit situated at ward 1, LA school, Popo, Iragbiji in Boripe Local Government Area.
His closest rival, Ademola Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) had 69 votes.
There were eight invalid votes recorded.

Also, National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Iyiola Omisore, has won his polling unit in Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State.
Osun State governor and APC candidate Adegboyega Oyetola, who is seeking re-election, polled 192 votes after the counting of the ballots at the polling unit 003, Ward 1, Ife East LGA .
APC’s closest rival is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Ademola Adeleke who polled 168 votes.
Also, the APC won Ward 8, unit 1, Isare Ifofin, Ilesa East Local Government Area where the former governor and interior minister Rauf Aregbesola hails from.

APC polled 164 votes while his closest rival, Adeleke of the PDP trailed with 134 votes.
The Guardian reported that did not vote in the governorship election.
