Police in Osun State on Thursday arrested one Kehinde Adekusibe weeks after he tweeted a hate speech against Igbos.

“On 18th May 2023, Adekusibe, on his tweeter handle, wrote: “Let’s kill all the Igbos. Let’s flush them out of Yoruba lands. I hate these people with a passion,” police spokesman Olumuyiwa Adejobi said in a statement.

Adejobi stated that Immediately, the Police Command received the report, Police detective from the Cybercrime section at SCID Osogbo swung into action and arrested the suspect at Ilesa.

The Police spokesperson said the suspect has confessed to the crime and will be charged in court after the completion of the investigation.
