Oyebanji retains Fayemi’s CPS, appoints Adubiaro SSG, freezes govt accounts

The Governor of Ekiti State, on Sunday, appointed Mr Yinka Oyebode as the Chief Press Secretary with immediate effect.
Oyebode was the Chief Press Secretary to the immediate past governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi.
According to a statement by the Head of Service of Ekiti State, Barrister Bamidele Agbede, the appointment takes immediate effect.
Meanwhile, the Governor has also appointed Dr Habitat Omolara Adubiaro as the Secretary to the State Government.
Relatedly, Oyebanji has also frozen all accounts of the State Government with immediate effect.
According to a statement by Oyebode, which was made available to newsmen in Ado -Ekiti, all accounting officers and financial institutions are urged to comply with this directive.
