More eulogies, yesterday, poured in for the late former military administrator of Mid West State and later Governor of Bendel State, Brigadier-General Samuel Ogbemudia (rtd).

The National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) Chief John Odigie-Oyegun and former Chief Whip of the House of Representatives, Samson Osagie described the late elder statesman as irreplaceable in the state.

Speaking at the residence of the Ogbemudias when he paid a condolence visit yesterday, Odigie-Oyegun said Ogbemudia was so loved that some of them as civil servants contributed to his campaign to become an elected governor of the state in 1983.

“He is a man of great achievement, great knowledge and great influence in the Nigerian polity, so we maintained a relationship right to the very end, even though we belonged to different political parties.”

On his part, Osagie described the late former governor as a colossus and prayed that God should create more people like him in the state to sustain the development of the state.
