The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has held a strategic meeting with its House of Representatives and House of Assembly aspirants as part of preparations ahead of the party’s forthcoming primaries.

The meeting, which brought together key stakeholders and aspirants across various constituencies, was aimed at strengthening internal cohesion, addressing concerns among contestants, and reinforcing unity within the party ahead of the 2026 election cycle.

In response, party officials assured contestants that the APC remains committed to a credible and transparent screening and primary process, noting that all aspirants would be given equal opportunity within the framework of party rules.
