Principal Consultant, Pandora, Kehinde Ruth Onasoga (KRO) has stressed the imperative of networking in order to break barriers, explore novel opportunities and connect minds to build resilience amidst present economic challenges.

Fielding questions from journalists during a networking session organised for select CEOs and decision makers of different companies in Lagos recently, she noted: “We have seen how difficult the economy is for organisations. The inflation, depreciation of the naira, and the reduced purchasing power are all having negative effects on industries, however, the businesses need to survive and stay afloat.”

Specifically, she said: “I’m a big fan of measurement, transparency, and communication,” adding that the idea of the Pandora mixer is to connect like minds, build partnerships, network and create opportunities within different sectors.

For Instance, she disclosed that one of the companies invited gives micro insurance to market women. According to her, “there is also an agricultural business that is looking at reducing the spoilage of foods by placing battery of time span of one hundred and eighty days to track food across the nation.”

She added that people from different sectors such as digital currency space, finance, fintech, agric, sustainable energy, and automotive are invited, as there is so much opportunity in terms of alliances.

Speaking on expectations after the event, she hoped: “Pandora will be remembered for creating the platform for the partnerships that resulted in the potential deals.”

She revealed: “We are going to keep doing this over a period of time. We are looking at having the networking every quarter of the year.”

A data-driven marketing agency, she said success stories of Pandora include digitisation of Lagos judiciary and the upgrade of Kwara State government website to attract Foreign Direct Investments (FDI).
