Path to peaceful living, development, by cleric
ArchBishop of Lagos, Methodist Church Nigeria, Most Reverend Dr. Isaac Ayobami Olawuyi, has canvassed a renewal of covenants with God for peaceful coexistence and national development.
He made the call in his maiden Annual 2019 New Year Covenant Sunday Thanksgiving service at the Wesley Cathedral, Olowogbowo, Lagos.
The cleric charged Nigerians to heartily sign a very worthy covenant with God this New Year 2019 and henceforth, for a healthy transparent relationship with God and man.
He said the renewal is necessary for His divine, glorious turn around justifiably, whereby the society and the nation will be very peaceful to happily live in at all times.
Olawuyi also urged the people to re-examine their past whereby previous unpleasant disposition now yields such very trustworthy reliable success, where no man will be oppressed in all its ramifications at all cost and times.
The erudite scholar and eminent cleric assured Nigerians of God’s unflinching love, support and passion to man.
He pleaded with all concerned, especially the leaders in authorities, on the urgent need to earnestly provide a level playing ground to make the forth coming elections the best, most credible and transparent.
