A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the Edo State governorship election, Mr Solomon Edebiri, yesterday condemned what he described as the deceit displayed by some politicians in the state.

Edibiri, who spoke at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) secretariat where he briefed the press shortly after purchasing his expression of interest and nomination form from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat, also promised to industrialise the state, if elected.

“If we build industries, it will help us employ people and by so doing,we will fight insecurity and at the same time build human security.
Part of our strategies is to evolve a paradigm that will create a synergy of a perfect development triangle involving labour unions, government and the private sector,” he said.
