PDP must form next government at centre, Secondus boasts
In spite of recent defections by his governors, the National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, yesterday, vowed that the main opposition political group would form the next government at the centre.
Briefing journalists in Abuja, Secondus said it was painful that the All Progressives Congress (APC) was not bothered about the increasing economic hardship and insecurity across the federation.
He said as the ruling party was going for governors, the PDP had remained with the masses.
Secondus argued that the constitution prohibits the kind of carpet-crossing undertaken by Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State.
The PDP had, on Monday, said it might ask the court to interpret the legality or otherwise of the defection.
