PDP targets total victory in Imo, says Anyanwu

National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Samuel Anyanwu, has reiterated the commitment of the party to deliver its candidates in Imo State in the coming 2023 polls.

Anyanwu, who spoke through his Special Adviser on Media, Ikenna Onuoha, said the party has mapped out strategies to ensure the defeat of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

The PDP national scribe insisted that 2023 polls would provide citizens with the opportunity to end APC misrule, stressing that PDP remains the alternative party for Nigerians.

He said: “Anyanwu recently inaugurated the leadership of Divine Mandate Movement, charged to ensure that all PDP candidates, across the state, emerge victorious in 2023 general elections.

“We are not leaving any stoned unturned in our commitment to show APC the way out, and enthrone good governance and democratic dividends to the people, which PDP is known for.”

“To this end, vehicles have been distributed to all the state, local governments and ward coordinators of the movement to aid them achieve the objectives. 

“As far as Anyanwu is concerned, his priority is to ensure PDP remains the party to beat, not only in Imo but across the country.

“However, we are not unaware that the task before the team members is difficult, but we are confident that, given their credibility and antecedents, they will deliver effectively and successfully.”
