The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has launched a new scheme which will help provide additional benefits to employees upon retirement.

PenCom disclosed this in a statement on Monday, while it also explained how employees can be part of
the scheme.

“PenCom has unveiled the roadmap for amplifying retirement benefits,” PenCom wrote in a statement on X (formerly Twitter).

It added that it is introducing the ‘Framework for Additional Benefits Schemes (ABS)’ within the CPS.

According to PenCom, this will allow employers to provide additional benefits to their employees upon retirement.
