Philanthropist donates books to Hope Waddell
A Lagos-based philanthropist and an old boy of the famous Hope Waddell Training Institution, Calabar, Cross River State, Mr. Mani Robson, has donated educational materials worth millions of naira to the school.
Robson, the Chief Executive of Temple and AegeandaDas, who made the donation yesterday, in Calabar said the gesture was part of his company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
He said aside the tall historical records of the school dating back to 1895, which attracted his company’s drive to invest in it, the initiative was also his own way of giving back to his alma mata.
