The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Friday arraigned the national publicity secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Olisa Metuh and his company, Destra Investment Limited on a seven-count charge of allegedly receiving stolen N400 million from ex-National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.

The PDP spokesman, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge. He has since been remanded in prison till January 19 when his lawyer’s formal application for bail will be heard.

Anyone who crticizes PMB or his APC-led government gets an invitation, or is arrested and detained by the EFCC operatives. This has turned Nigeria into a unitary, totalitarian country where the voices of opposition have effectively been silienced. The fear of the EFCC’s invitation and/or arrest has led to mass defection into the APC since APC is seen as a SANCTUARY where the corrupt are immune and insulated from the EFCC’s harrassment. Very bad for our democracy!

You are not even educated enough to pick up and comment on the salient issues I raised in my comment, except to call yourself “a liar and cheat.” Go back to school!

Why can’t some Nigerians argue without insults or curse words? Ariwo how did you even sign up to comment when you carry no opinions in your head? The above comment sounds and factually looks so true and yet you cursed instead of criticizing constructively. Haven’t you been following the news or seeing it happen? Next time do proper research before typing. Not saying PMB’s government is bad or good as it is still ongoing even though the only benefit is the clamp down on the former regime’s government officials but I advice we still give him more time to see where all these leads, if it will be all inclusive in terms of the fight against corruption and the development of our great nation.
