The police in Katsina State have apprehended two suspected informants to criminals. Their arrest followed an attack by bandits, which led to the death of three and abduction of four at Dantankari village, Dandume Council, Katsina State.

Sa’adu Haruna and Musa Ibrahim are suspected to have prior knowledge of the attack. Police sources revealed that the two men in their 40s were heard discussing at a tea joint that bandits would attack the village on December 27, 2020 and kidnap one Alhaji Dalhatu Namahangi.
The sources added that true to the discussion, bandits attacked the town on that day and abducted Namahangi.
