The Rivers State government recently said security agents have arrested ‎fake result sheets printing syndicate in Port Harcourt. But in a swift reaction, the state police command said it is unaware of the arrest of any fake result sheet printing syndicate.

The state government had alleged that ahead of the December 10 re-run national and state legislative polls, the Police, on Saturday, stormed a Printing press, located at Isiokpo Street D-Line Port Harcourt, where some persons were printing fake result sheets for seven local government areas of the Rivers South-East.

The government claimed police stormed the facility upon a tip off by a concerned Nigerian. It said the printing press is owned by ‎a member of the opposition from Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area.
