Praise for Barau over support to Akpabio in delivering Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda
Numerous organizations have expressed their praise for Deputy Senate President Jubrin Barau for his significant support to his counterpart, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, in advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Specifically, the groups – Civil Society Central Coordinating Council, Ethnic Youth Leaders Forum, and Barau National Supporters Forum – have applauded both Barau and Akpabio for their swift approval of the $800 million World Bank loan and the N500 billion palliative aimed at mitigating the impact of the removal of petrol subsidy.
In a statement signed by Comrade Kabiru Yusuf, Echefu Wisdom, and Ogige Nnadozie, these organizations also lauded them for their efficient handling of the screening of ministerial nominees.
The statement emphasizes, “We commend the Deputy Senate President, Jubrin Barau, for his immense support to his partner, the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, in delivering on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. Barely two months in office, the duo have shown great commitment to the 10th Nass agenda of delivering on people’s interest legislation through provision of support to President Tinubu. We urge them to keep up the good work.”
