Union felicitates with faithful on Ramadan

The National Head of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Nigeria, Alatoye Folorunso Azeez, has urged the Muslim faithful to pray for the political class to turn a new leaf after Ramadan and that with Allah’s help, Nigerians will be relieved of hardship.

He also enjoined them to pray for global peace in the world so that the Almighty Allah will make the occasion a source of reformation and transformation, as well as a beacon of solution to the various challenges and a harbinger of everlasting divine peace, security, and happiness for humanity at large.

Azeez, while stressing the importance of prayer, called on Muslims to ensure that their goal should be to strive to improve the standard of their worship, draw near to God, and become His true servant.

RELATEDLY, as Muslim faithful across the world celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, the Road Transport Employers of Nigeria (RTEAN), Lagos State chapter, has congratulated them on the completion of fasting.

According to the statement by the RTEAN Secretariat in Lagos, the association urged the Muslim faithful to continue in the lessons and teachings of tolerance, humility, love, forgiveness and charity that the season teaches beyond the holy month of Ramadan.

The union also urged them to continue to live in peace with their neighbours. The state’s Chairman of RTEAN, Samsondeen Adepeju, also used the medium to congratulate President Bola Tinubu on his 73rd birthday.
