Presidency reschedules ministers-designate’s retreat, swearing-in

The Federal Government yesterday rescheduled its two-day induction retreat and swearing in for the recently cleared ministerial nominees from August 15 to between 16th and 19th of this month.

The Federal Government yesterday rescheduled its two-day induction retreat and swearing in for the recently cleared ministerial nominees from August 15 to between 16th and 19th of this month.

Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Affairs office, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babatunde Lawal, made the announcement in a statement in Abuja.

According to him, the venue of the programme remains the State House Conference Centre, Presidential Villa, and holds at 9.00a.m.

He added that attendance to the event, to be presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, is strictly by invitation.

Lawal explained that one of the objectives of the retreat was to sensitise the appointees on the implementation of policies, programmes and projects of government from 2015 till date.
