The West Africa Knowledge Economic Organisation (WAKEOrg) has urged the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to make youth matters, girl-child education and sanitation priorities in his administration.

The West Africa Knowledge Economic Organisation (WAKEOrg) has urged the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to make youth matters, girl-child education and sanitation priorities in his administration.

In a congratulatory message to Tinubu, signed by its Secretary General, Joel Dappa, and made available to newsmen in Lagos, yesterday, WAKEOrg equally advised thee president-elect to make food, water, energy and cyber security top of his administration’s agenda.

“WAKEOrg wishes you much success in your demanding office, good fortune and excellent health and to the whole of your family,” the organisation said.

“WAKEOrg believes that Tinubu’s presidential commitment would continue to encourage the proud tradition of involvement in worthwhile knowledge-based economic and diplomatic causes in the West African sub-region.

“The organisation is an independent sub-regional organisation for public-private co-peration committed to improving the state of West African economies, pushing for new frontiers in smart economic and social agenda.

“It is committed to improving the state of West Africa’s economy, pioneering new economic frontiers aimed at repositioning Africa to maximise the opportunities available from the steadily increasing interest from the rest of the world—importantly, to play a strategic role in the evolving multipolar world.

“WAKEOrg also has partnership endorsements of Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Ministry and the Department of Education, Science and Culture of the ECOWAS Commission.”
