The Association for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities of Nigeria (AIDDN) has urged the government at all levels to make laws and policies that will enable them to vote for the candidate of their choice in every election in Nigeria, especially in the forth-coming 2023 general elections.

The association also implored well-meaning Nigerians to stop discrimination against people living with disabilities.

It made the call during its 2022 election held at Akoka, Yaba, Lagos, where new executive members were elected.

Co-founder of the association, Adeleke Philip, said good laws and policies would help them vote for candidates of their choice.
