Rep supports 21 law graduates with N100,000 each

Lawmaker representing Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency of Lagos State in the House of Representatives, Donald Ojogo, has donated N100,000 each of the 21 law school graduates from his constituency ahead of their call to bar.

While presenting the cash gift to the graduates, the lawmaker said investing in the education of the individuals facilitate their becoming worthy ambassadors of the state.

The cash gift was presented during a visit to his office at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja in fulfillment of his campaign promises to contribute to the growth and development of education in the area.

According to Ojogo, the financial assistance to the law school graduates is without political or ethnic affiliations but to assist and prepare them ahead of their call-to-bar ceremony slated for October.

He advised them to adhere strictly to the ethics of the legal profession and to avoid engaging in practices capable of undermining their integrity.

He said: “We cherish education, and one of the ways through which we can impact our society is to give unfettered access to education and assist our students.”

He charged them to be outstanding ambassadors not only of the legal profession but also of their federal constituency.
