The House of Representatives is putting in place measures to penalise defaulters of the National Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).

Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila, who dropped the hint at the commencement of hearing on the non-remittance of contributions into the fund by both public and private institutions yesterday in Abuja, expressed concern over the failure of the NSITF to live up to the expectations of Nigerians.

Represented by the House Leader, Ado Doguwa, the speaker described the non-compliance as an act of sabotage against Nigerian workers.
