Reps mull establishment of facilities maintenance agency
The House of Representatives is considering a bill to establish a federal facilities management agency in the polity. Sponsor of the bill, Emeka Chinedu, told The Guardian in Abuja that the bill recently passed the first reading on the floor of the green chamber.He explained that the bill, when passed into law, would help promote maintenance culture in Nigeria where majority of public facilities were in total decay.
The lawmaker representing Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise federal constituency of Imo State enjoined youths to be wary of alcohol and substance abuse to avoid bodily harm and untimely death at yuletide.
