The Association of Resident Doctors, Kaduna State Chapter, has resolved to suspend its strike action, effective June 10, 2025.

In a statement on Tuesday, the association said the decision was reached after a series of meetings with the state government to address the challenges of Kaduna’s healthcare system,

The association stated that the decision also followed the intervention of the Secretary to the State Government, just as the doctors expressed the hope that the government will work towards addressing their demands within the next two months, as requested.

“We call on all our members to resume work and allow the government to work holistically towards resolving these challenges.

“We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the public for standing with us during this trying period. Your support and understanding have been invaluable, and we are grateful for your solidarity in demanding a better healthcare system in Kaduna State,” the association said.
