The General Superintendent of Deeper Life Christian Ministry, Pastor W. F Kumuyi, has urged Nigerians who desire the best for the country to rise up and do their part in moving the nation forward.

Kumuyi made the charge at a press briefing held at the Ibadan Airport, Alakia, where he announced the global convention of youths for transformation and knowledge empowerment scheduled for September 30 to October 3, 2022.

He said Nigerians should also have the vision to lift the country and contribute their quota in such a way that the country would be lifted once again.

He said: “It is the right and responsibility of every citizen to desire a better country. We will expect our young people that are vibrant, and lively and want to see Nigeria of their own dream to get involved in a good way without the violence and as long as we are preparing people for heaven, we must fit in the whole world because we have a different calling. We tell the young people to discover their talents and where the Lord is preparing them to be.

“It is their right to vote for the candidate of their choice. We are not going to dictate to anyone; they know the best and what they are looking for and the Lord will direct them to make their vote count.”

He added that the four-day programme is geared toward building vibrant youths for the future of the country.
