As schools in Rivers State resume today, the state government has warned the 437 schools it banned following their failure to meet the requirements for private schools not to re-open.

Commissioner for Education, Prof. Kaniye Ebeku, who said yesterday that the directive would subsist, advised parents and guardians not to patronise the unapproved schools.
