To provide support and uplift people’s spirits during the festive season, the Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metro, has donated gift items to 200 adult patients at the General Hospital, Odan, Lagos.

The club also gave 200 children gift items to bring joy and a sense of normalcy to their challenging circumstances.

Speaking at the event, club President, Rtn Adekemi Ololade Folorunsho, said the outreach further demonstrated their commitment to community service and people’s well-being, adding that it would also strengthen relationships with the general hospital.

She recognised the hard work of the hospital staff and commended their dedication in caring for patients.

The president also expressed profound gratitude to the District Governor, Rtn Ifeyinwa Ejezie, for honouring the outreach with her presence.

The club president, alongside the district governor, and other members, engaged in a series of impactful activities during the outreach. The duo spoke to patients, sharing words of encouragement and empathy.
