Senator Sam Anyanwu has resumed his role as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by returning to his office at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

Addressing reporters after his personal staff received him around 10:56am, Anyanwu dismissed a statement credited to the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba.

The PDP spokesperson had said the party received the Appeal Court judgment recognising Sunday Okoye as National Secretary.

Reacting, Anyanwu told newsmen, “That is his opinion. It’s not the opinion of the party.

“As National Publicity Secretary of the party, I wouldn’t want to disparage him. Maybe he didn’t get the facts correctly. I have appealed.”
