Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong Appointed Chairman of Prestigious ‘Utomo Obong 2024’ Festival
In a remarkable display of honor, Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong has been unanimously selected as Chairman for the 13th annual Utomo Obong Festival, a grand yuletide homage to the Obong of Calabar.
The announcement was made by the Central Working Committee of the Royal Court’s Executive Forum, marking the senator’s prominent role in the cultural celebration scheduled for December 21, 2024.
The week-long festivities will culminate in a royal gathering at the Obong’s country residence in Adiabo Ikot Mbo Otu. The kingdom eagerly awaits the chairmanship of Senator Ekpenyong in what promises to be a historic event”
