The Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Ede Dafinone, has paid glowing tribute to former President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away at the weekend.

In a statement on Monday in Abuja, Senator Dafinone described the news of Buhari’s demise as ‘deep sorrow’.

The senator remembered the former President’s legacy of service, highlighting his strong stance on anti-corruption, national security, and infrastructure development. He also commended the former President’s commitment to discipline, integrity, and national unity.

“As we mourn, we also celebrate a life marked by patriotism, courage, and sacrifice,” Senator Dafinone said. “May his legacy continue to inspire current and future generations of leaders”.

Senator Dafinone extended his heartfelt condolences to the Buhari family, the government and people of Katsina State, and the entire country.
