Southeast governors to hold economic summit

Governors of the southeast geo-political zone have disclosed a plan to hold an economic summit in the region.

The Director-General of the South East Governors’ Forum, Prof. Simon Ortuanya and the Director, Media and Communication, Michael Udah, disclosed this in a statement in Abakaliki.

The statement said the three-day summit would hold in Enugu, from November 11 to 13, 2017, with the theme: “Repositioning the South East For Rapid Economic Development.”

The summit would be organised in partnership with the UK AID-Department for International Development (DFID), Partnership to Engage, Reform and Learn (PERL).
