Rapper Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, has been released from Kuje prison.

This was disclosed by his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, in a post on X on Tuesday.

“Speed Darlington is out from Kuje prison,” Adeyanju shared.

Speed Darlington found himself in Kuje prison after he was accused of defamation and cyber stalking following comments he made about singer Burna Boy.

The rapper had alleged that Burna Boy had an illicit relationship with US music mogul Sean Combs, popularly known as Diddy.

He alleged that Burna Boy must have won his first Grammy Award as a result of the relationship with Diddy.

He also released a diss track targeted at Burna Boy, titled Baby Oil.

This led to his arrest and incarceration before he was granted bail six days ago.
