Spokesman restates Buhari’s commitment to good governance
President Muhammadu Buhari is to keep working for the progress of the country, with a focus on leaving behind stronger democratic institutions and culture to drive development, his Special Adviser (Media and Publicity), Femi Adesina, has reiterated.
The presidential aide gave the reassurance yesterday in Abuja while receiving an award from the Progressive Councilors Forum (PCF), an association of past and present councilors, led by the chairman, Sunday Yusuf Achor.
The spokesman said his principal remained committed to enthroning a greater Nigeria, delivering democracy dividends to the citizens and working with organisations, especially those directly involved with the grassroots, to promote good governance.
Adesina assured the PCF of the administration’s continued disposition to partnerships that could sell the policies and programmes of the Buhari government to Nigerians.
