The Chairman of Bali Local Government Council in Taraba State, Bala Habila Balasa, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, promising to promote unity, welfare and security across the local government irrespective of religious or cultural differences.

Balasa stated this on Sunday while felicitating Muslim faithful across the state on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud celebration, commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

In a goodwill message to mark the celebration, the chairman joined the Muslim Ummah in reflecting on the life, virtues and teachings of the Holy Prophet, describing Eid-el-Maulud as an opportunity for spiritual renewal, peace and reflection.

He urged Muslims to use the occasion to pray for continued peace, unity and progress in Bali Local Government Area, Taraba State and Nigeria as a whole.

The council chairman also called on the faithful to uphold the values of compassion, tolerance and peaceful coexistence exemplified by Prophet Muhammad, stressing the importance of translating such virtues into their daily interactions.

Balasa assured residents of the council’s determination to sustain programmes and policies that foster unity and improve the welfare and security of all communities within the local government.
