Terrorists kill one, kidnap rector, woman in Southern Kaduna
Terrorists have killed one person and abducted the Rector, Federal School of Statistics, Manchok, Kaura Local Council of Southern Kaduna.
The Guardian gathered that the assailants stormed the village in their numbers for the attack.
Sources stated yesterday: “The terrorists stormed the community at night and killed one person, while a lady and the Rector of Federal School of Statistics were kidnapped.”
The attack came barely three weeks after two persons in charge of the distribution of mosquito nets were gunned down along Zangang-Zankan road in the local council.
A resident, John Auta, told journalists yesterday that the terrorists stormed the community with sophisticated weapons shooting sporadically before abducting the victims.
He lamented that some communities in the local council had been experiencing terror attacks, and that security operatives were not doing enough to arrest the situation.
Auta called on the government to station security agencies in the area to curtail the activities of the criminal elements.
Spokesman for the police in the state, DSP Mohammed Jalige, could not be reached through his phone at the time of filing this report and families of the victims were yet to establish contact with the terrorists.
