Pastors United for Change Association (PUCA) has said those doubting the performance of Kaduna State Governor Nasir el-Rufai and his deputy-elect, Hadiza Balarabe, will be proved wrong after 2023.

The group stated this in a release jointly issued by its National Chairman Reverend David Adeniran and National Organising Secretary, Pastor Ayokunle Adebayo, describing governor el-Rufai’s re-election as a blessing to Kaduna State.

While urging Kaduna residents to give the governor maximum cooperation in his second term, they said their support for him was informed by “his past and present records of active visionary performance.”

“This is based on proven capacity and commitment to provide quality education, durable health care services, sustainable infrastructure development and people-oriented services for all, irrespective of background, tribe and religion.”

They also congratulated the governor-elect, saying: “We prayed for a peaceful election and God answered our prayers with an election that produced el-Rufai as the certified winner of the 2019 gubernatorial election.”

“We strongly believe that his re-election for another term of four years is divine and we expect all citizens to accept his victory in good faith, especially because we are aware that God has a hand in whatever happens in life.”
