Wundi, who led his supporters to the Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), yesterday, said his official declaration was in response to the call from his constituents and not the threats of litigation.
The three-time commissioner lamented the state of security and economy in the country, adding that his stepping forward to contest was his belief that “the nation’s hope lies in the quality of laws” made by the legislature.
According to Wundi, Nigeria is on the verge of collapse and there is a need for an energetic individual to reposition it.
