Tincan Customs generates N138b
The Port Terminal Multiservices Limited (PTML) Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), yesterday, said it posted N138 billion for January to September this year.
Its Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Yakubu, in a statement, noted that the income was N22.1 billion (19 per cent) higher than the N115.9 billion collected in the corresponding period of 2019.
He revealed that the command got its record monthly revenue of N18.1 billion this August, attributing the feat to increased cargoes and strategies by the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Festus Okun, to plug leakages.
