
President Bola Tinubu has approved Dr. Saviour Enyiekere’s appointment as Chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) for a five-year renewable term.
Enyiekere, an environmental specialist, previously served as the deputy chief of staff to the Senate President.
Enyiekere’s appointment was announced on Thursday by the State House, through the President’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga.
Tinubu also approved the appointment of 12 members to the commission, with two members selected from each of the six geopolitical zones, the State House disclosed.
The full list of appointees includes Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi (North West), Hon. Yusuf A. Yusuf Tabuka (North West), Aminu Ibrahim Malle (North East), Alhaji Lawan Maina Mahmud (North East), Mark Hanmation Tersoo (North Central), Salihu Umar Agboola Balogun (North Central), Hon. Taiwo Olukemi Oluga ( South West), Hon. Afeez Ipeza-Balogun, Hon. Dr. Nnanna Uzor Kalu, Festus Ifesinachi Odii (South West), Patrick A. Giwa (South-South), and Mrs. Mary Ekpenyong (South-South).
