President Bola Tinubu has extended condolences to the families of victims, the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), and the United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, following Tuesday’s fire outbreak at the Afriland Building on Broad Street, Lagos Island.

In a statement, the President also commiserated with the management and staff of Afriland Properties Limited, FIRS, and UBA, particularly those who lost loved ones in the inferno, as well as the injured who are currently receiving treatment.

He praised the swift intervention of emergency responders, including the Federal Fire Service, medical personnel, first aiders, and members of the public, for their sense of responsibility during the evacuation.
